I love this bra!
I’m not sure why there are bad reviews on this. It is my favorite maternity bra. I bought it in all colors. I feel super supported and it looks really nice, unlike most maternity bras. I bought a size 1 and I’m a D cup at the moment (before breastfeeding I was 34b). I’m going to keep wearing it even after I stop breastfeeding because I love it so much.
terrible for nursing moms
This is NOT for maternity or postpartum moms. I wanted to love this so badly but the fit is awful. Echoing the other 1 star reviews, the fabric is soft but there is zero support for breastfeeding and the material is very thin so unless you have a very small chest ( which doesn't happen if you're breastfeeding) or no postpartum belly, this is not going to work. If this is going to be advertised as a breastfeeding friendly top, then there needs to be strong support in the band and the cups. It seems as though the design team didn't have someone try this on who has actually been a mom because the whole thing is just off. Feels like I got tricked into a marketing scheme to buy something that I was hoping would make me feel good in my postpartum body. And the no return policy is such a bummer because I liked everything else I bought but would've loved to exchange this for something else.
Regret Buying
As another reviewer stated previously, I wanted to like this so badly. The ordering/ shipping process was great no complaints there however, once I got the item I quickly realized it would simply not work for me. There is no breast support and a weird seam that ends right where your nipple is that shows through your shirt. Maybe this would work for someone that has a smaller chest, I am a 38DD and not only is there no support but the cup is simply no where near big enough for me. No matter how many times I readjust the seam always rides up and ends up cutting my boobs in half. I'm extremely disappointed in the return policy as well. It's my fault for not reading it prior to ordering but had I fully read it I probably would not have ordered and wasted my money. Items like these HAVE to be worn to know how they are going to fit but to not accept any returns on bodysuits at all is a bit ridiculous. Extremely disappointed...
Great in theory, poor execution
I wanted to love this bodysuit so badly! The material is soft and I already wear the mesh trim maternity bras every day so I was willing to overlook the “nipple dart” seams on the cups. Like other reviewers have started, there is basically no band for support or separation at the bottom of the cups. This provides no support and, perhaps the most annoying, it allows nursing pads to move all around rather than stay where they’re supposed to. This is the only Lively purchase I have made that I regret. I’ve tried it on several times thinking that I could make it work, but it always gets stuck back in a drawer since it cannot be returned. I would not recommend this disappointing bodysuit!
Weird cups
I wanted to love this bodysuit, but the cups have darts that end in a point right about where your nipple is, so when you put a shirt over it, it looks terrible. That's the whole reason I needed it, so I could wear it out, and while it seems beautifully made and sexy, it just doesn't work for me. I'd much rather a functional nursing top than a sexy but unwearable one. I returned it.
